M1 Garand laminate stock

Has anyone uaed a Fulton's camo laminated stock on their M1 Garand? How do they fit? Drop in? How much work to finish? I have one but still trying to figured how to finish it. Rhought about auto clear coat but to glossy.

  If it's to glossy, rub it out with 0000 steel wool until it's like you want it... No problem..
  Lots of other stuff can remove the shine too...
