Redfield sight for 30/40 Krag
Picked up a redfield sight for a 30/40 krag. This is the "no gunsmith" version that clamps where the cutoff is and also uses a longer screw for the side plate. Hence my problem. Missing the screw and as near as I can figure out it is a 10/27 screw. Anyone have any idea where I can find such an animal?

Positive! I checked it with a pitch gauge. Just talked to a friend and it could be metric. Apparently, even back then, some guns had metric threads. Anyone know? 0 -
Brownell's or Midway would be top choices, but check with a local gunsmaith, he may have them. 0 -
