AR 15 9mm conversion

Sir,
What does it take to convert a AR15 223 to a 9mm besides a 9mm upper and a bolt carrier? Do I have to change all the lower parts etc.

  Well it depends on whos conversion you are doing.
  
  Basically you will need the upper, bolt/carrier, lower mag well block (so 9mm mags will lock in), on some of the conversions require a different hammer.
