Thoughts on Daniel Defense DDXV

Looking to get my first AR. Was going to get a Colt 6020 or a Ruger SR556, but saw that Daniel Defense has a $250 Black Fund rebate card with purchase or any rifle before end of year. Thought I heard DD is a good rifle, is the $250 rebate worth buying one over a 6920? Thanks!

  Well I'd go with a 6920 based on the fact they hold value better then most other Ar-15 rifles.

  Can't argue with quickmajik's logic.
  
  But, when comparing similar guns, my way of looking at it is:
  1) Does my dealer have exactly what I want?
  2) If not, can he get it immediately from a distributors stock?
  3) What is the bottom line cost of each gun, after factoring in coupons, discounts, shipping, taxes, etc?
