looking 4 info smithfield stevens 45 70 break open

I'm looking for information about a Smithfield J. Stevens Arms Company 45.70 break open double barrel rifle. We can't find this in the gun blue book. All the info I can find about 45.70s is on trapdoors. This is not a trapdoor. There is no serial number. It looks rather old but is in very nice condition. Any idea of possible age or value????   I never heard of a Stevens double rifle, but converting double shotguns to rifles is an advanced amateur gunsmithing project I have seen and read about.
