870 remington slide assembly

hey guys i need some more of your help.

Will a 20 gauge slide assembly block fit in the 12 gauge.
I see people offer that they fit, but they are trying to sell stuff.
any help is allways appreciated. Thanks

  short answer=nope..............long answer=maybe..rem. did make some 20 ga. guns on 12ga frames
