Eley .22 LR "Z" Ammo

I have 100 rounds (two 50-round boxes plastic-wrapped together) whose only identifing markings are the word "Eley", and a large letter "Z"; what is this stuff? Match? Sub-sonic? Experimental?

  Have NO idea if it applies to your ammo, but at one time Eley had 4 machines that made their Tenex target ammo- W,X,Y and Z. Serious shooters stuck with one lot number- and the machine code was part of the lot number.

  hello Champions Choice www.champchoice most likely sells more ELEY ammo then any dealer in the U.S. if you call them ask for HOMER he should be able to answer your question.
