.303 MK4 II Rifle Barrel
I am looking for British .303 mk4 II barrel, does anyone know where I can get one in good condition? I have looked at the gun shows around here and have not seen one so far. The one I got is wore out and needs a new barrel from a supplier or a custom barrel made. I would like to keep the gun as orginial as possible but I will change the caliber to a .308 if I have to have a custom barrel made. Any help would be greatful. Thanks.[8]

I don't know where to get a .303 barrel but will point out that converting a No 4 to .308 is a bigger job than just rebarreling. It needs a new bolt head and magazine, maybe other parts as well. The Internet Generation is kind of nervous about caliber conversions on old military rifles anyhow. 0 -
Keep watching auctions here. I saw one a week or so ago on auction. Might post this on the Wanted/trade forum as well. 0 -
Start here - all sorts of barrels, including a 7.62.

Only difference I know of between the MkI & MkII is the trigger - I presume the barrel for a No4 MkII is the same as a MkI?0
