best bullet weight for 9MM mini

What is the best bullet weight for a 9MM carry gun with a 3 inch barrel? Lighter 90gr or 100gr and faster or 115gr or 124gr and slower?

I use the Speer 124 grain "Short Barrel" JHP out of my EMP and Kahr Mk9 - seems to works well.

In my opinion heavier is better, particularly with short-barreled guns where velocity can be reduced a bit.

So all else being equal, I'd go for the 124 grain bullets.

Just make sure that whatever round you choose will reliably cycle your gun. Smaller guns in particular can be more ammo-sensitive than larger ones.
