Topic Locked??? Somebody explain...

I put up a post asking about CCW calibers...and got some great advice by the way. I went to reply and thank everyone but the topic was locked. Can somebody explain what happened and why??? Did I do something wrong?

  brier-49 is one of those names we don't like so we lock all your threads...consistently at 10

  Obviously I had not read it or I would not have posted the question to begin with. I had seen the post title and even saw it referenced in another thread discussion about inappropriate posts...so I thought it was something to do with the religious topic controversy I had seen with some locked threads. Hence my concern I had done something wrong. But I now also understand the term "stickies" as well...so I learned two things today. Thank you...
