Stevens 311 SXS Me not smart
Can anyone point me in the right direction to cypher the approx. age of a Stevens Mod. 311 series H 410 SXS? I know it is post 1970 because there is no date code. Ser. E450XXX. Thanks for the help.

Mort, thanks for the info. It makes it seem secretive - like they were making nuclear warheads. That said, Steven's 311 is a great, cheap gun until it was discovered 5or six years ago. Growing up in the 50s - 60s , many of my friends had .410 311s . I felt bad for them since I had a winchester 50 in 20 guage. Little did I realize that I'd fall in love with the 311 in 1984 and acquire more of them than is reasonable...... 0
