Savage 24V
I have a Savage 24V Model D. Mine is a 223 over 20 gauge. What is the difference between a 222 and a 223. The 3 looks to be stamped crooked. Anyone? Anyone?

On a Savage 24V 222 x 20ga is the ejector suppose to eject the shells or just raise them up about 1/4" so you can grab them with your fingernails? Mine just raises them 1/8" to 1/4" can't get the shell out with gloves on. 0 -
Put a .223 in it and see if it goes in, the .223 has a fatter case. 0 -

ANNNNDDDD.. lol.. Can you share with me an approx fair market value? 0 -
Not much balistic difference. Neither will affect the value much. In decent shape $300. Really would need to see photos of wood, bluing and case coloring to give accurate estimate. 0 -
The .223 case is not fatter but it IS longer and the cartridges ARE NOT interchangeable. 0
