Remington 16Ga. Chamber Length
I have a Remington Model 11A Sportsman 16Ga made in 1938. The barrel says 16Ga but does not give the chamber length. I have not yet fired the gun, but I have assumed it is the standard 2 3/4" length. In a previous posting regarding the serial# of the gun ASPHALT COWBOY brought up the question as to its chamber length and mentioned it could be different. Would appreciate knowing for sure its length...if anyone knows for sure....PLEASE respond! THANKS!!!

Folks...just learned from another forum that all Model 11's in 16GA were chambered for 2 3/4" shells. Thanks! 0 -
Glad we could clear that up for you.[:p] 0
