Any one have any ideas on what the J (Lion symbol) 26 proof markings are on my CZ 26?

  It's the military proof mark and date. If your pistol? looks like the one in this photo it's actually a Model CZ 24. The "26" is the date of proof/manufacture, not the model type. GOOGLE, "CZ 24", their is a lot of information on the net on this Czech military pistol.
