Care of Walnut Grips

I just bought my first handgun with walnut grips. what is the best way to care for them? Thanks.

  They have a factory finish on them, but you could rub them down with linseed oil ocassionally.

  The factory finish won't let to much stuff penetrate it, a little furniture polish is your best bet
  to keep em nice.............

  Yep, a nice clear hard wax like Trewax is what you want.
