Any time you start fooling around with factory trigger springs, it becomes a big time legal liability problem. IMHO, with all the blood sucking lawyers around nowadays only likely place your going to get lighter springs is from Anschutz.

Have you tried to adjust your springs that are in the gun??? I was
once NOT allowed to enter a NRA smallbore match because my 54 trigger
broke at 2 lbs. Had to tighten to 3lbs 1 oz to fire that match. Bob

Yes, I have adjusted the existing springs. Unable to get much lighter than about 2 1/4 lbs trigger pull. Owner would like to get down to at least 1 3/4 or 1 1/2 lbs, if possible. Yes, that is lower than allowed at matches, but the owner's son wants a lighter pull to see how much he can tighten up his already nice groupings, sort of an experiment to see just how accurate he can get with the gun.

Yeah, that sounds about right for springs that are in good condition.
That gun will out shoot anyone here. Mine amazed me, from the prone position, 10 shots in a hole that measured .015" larger than one .22 hole. Using the std. push-in plug scorer tool with a built in magnifier
you couldn't tell it was not one bullet hole. What type of sites does he have...micrometer iron or scope? I use a Unertal 20x scope for the
    small bore indoor matches. bob

Walk into the auto supply store with the spring. You may get lucky with a carburetor return spring that's the correct length, and rate. Best, Joe

search anschutz trigger on the auction side; a guy has a set for $20. They look like 1408 (match 54) springs,,but ask first.
