    Could someone tell me how much a 357 mag taurus brazil is worth. It is in really good shape not hardly used. probly only 50 shots out of it.

    I really don't like the Llama for some reason. I just cant put my finger on it. I would look for a Ruger Security Six or even single action before I purchased a Llama or a Taurus for that matter.

    There is one on gunbroker for 210 reserve not met. So it sounds like a good deal. But I know nothing about the gun itself. I can only say, that if it is selling for that cheep in such a good caliber. It may not be made very well. I don't know for sure, but I have not seen any .357 that cheep that are worth buying. That is just me, nd I don't know anything about that gun. Hope I helped you some how.

    Had one, paid about the same (that is very close to NIB wholesale). Reliable enough for plinking, etc. Rear sight is very loose the way it is installed, but good enough.

    Llama has been out of business for a number of years now. I believe the revolvers were last in production during the 90's.

    The price is OK, but being it's a orphan make sure to test fire for function and reliability purposes. If it needs work or parts you might be out of luck, no matter how righteous the price is.

    To be clear here, there are two sorts of "Comanche" revolvers.

    There was the Llama Spanish kind. That company is defunct.

    After that company went out of business, the brand name was taken by an Argentinian company. I'm pretty sure these are still being manufactured: http://www.firestorm-sgs.com/comanche.htm

    From what I've heard the Argentinian ones are junk.

    The Spanish ones had poor quality control, with many of them having timing and cylinder gap issues.

    With so many quality guns available on the used market, I simply see no reason to take chances with off-brand third-tier guns, particularly ones with dubious customer support.

    So personally, no, I wouldn't buy that one, even for $150.

    I agree with TSR. If you want a relatively inexpensive 357 magnum revolver with adjustable sights, go save your money and find a nice used Ruger Security Six for around $300 instead. The Ruger will retain its value, it will last forever, and if not Ruger will fix it for you.

    You can probably find a cosmetically beat-up Ruger even cheaper, and I'd still prefer that over the Comanche.

    You can always use a good "tackle box" gun. It's nice to have a cheap one that you don't have to worry over.

    Llama makes a very nice 1911-clone that's well worth $150, but I don't think their wheelguns were too hot.
    That said, if it shoots and doesn't blow up; yer ahead!
