HRA Garand parts date of manufacture?

Can anyone tell me what year this receiver was manufactured, serial # 6528287HRA?

The information you supplied does not match known data.

It would be best if you posted photos of your rifle, especially close-ups of the markings on the receiver.

my scott duff book says: all HRA Garands were made after 1950

1953 500 delivered
1954 114,459
1955 158,187
1956 155,454
total 428,600
the receiver drawing sahould read 6528291or D-6528291 with a heat # or alphabet letter.
What you have listed here is the bolt drawing #, if it says 6528287HRA , i have a IHC with same drawing # but says 6528287IHC, mine is 1954, SA had the same thing, the serial # on heel of receiver will tell you date of mfg dont list the complete # just XX the last two digits,

That is the drawing number from the bolt and not the receiver's serial number. I'll bet your bolt looks a whole lot like this one...Right?

Sorry guys....I fell like a real D/A! The serial from the receiver is 5554229. Sorry for wasting your time, and I hope someone can help now that I have "good" data!!

But, to answer your question ...... late 1954 - early 1955.
