Whitneyville Armory 22 cal 7 shot round barrel
Hello: I'm new so if I err please excuse me. How can I learn something, (value, age rairity etc), Of this gun? The serial No is 2403B faintly stamped on top of the barrel is Whitneville Armory ct usa The barrel 2 3/8" long. Other than this it looks like others I've seen on the net. Thanks Bob

Please see the "sticky about posting photos, and get some good ones of your revolver. Whitneyville guns (as in Eli Whitney- guy that created the cotton gin) were from the 1800s, fairly scarce, and depending on condition, model, etc, can be worth some $$$. 0 -
The standard collector reference for antique U.S. firearms is a book called, "Flaydermann's Guide's " It's up to the 9th edition now. Since it has become a standard reference work, most libraries have one.
The small Whitney revolvers date to the 1860's/70's time frame. There were a number of different variations. Get hold of the Guide for help in identification and valuation.0
