32 S&W ammo
I have a 32 cal S&W model 733 made in 1980. Ammo calls for 32 long. Can I also use 38 ammo in this gun?
Thanks

No! A 32 S&W uses a bullet that is .314" in diameter and a 38 special bullet is .358" in diameter. You can shoot 32 S&W Long and 32 S&W. 0 -
It would be best if you could post photos of your gun, including close-ups of all markings.

Would that perhaps be an Harrington & Richardson Model 733? Nickel plated 6 shooter? Same answer on the ammo as Peary posted. They were made to handle .32 S&W (the shorter, original one) and .32 S&W Long cartridges. 0
