The Proof Marks are Italian. American Arms went out of business in the late 90's. They were located in Kansas City. When they were in business they imported handguns and shotguns from a number of European countries. The guns they imported were mostly utility grade hunting guns, nothing that a collector would be interested in. It's been my experience that 16 gauge shotguns aren't big sellers to U.S. hunters, factor in the economy being in the toilet, very unlikely your shotgun is going to be worth a lot of money.
