>45lc SAA cylinder??????

Hello, I bought this cylinder as an Uberti and it does not fit my Uberti. I would like to try and sell it but need to know what it actually goes to before I can honestly sell it, unlike the guy that sold it to me. Can you possibly tell me please what it might go to. It has some markings that I will try to describe.
Around cylinder are numbers and pictures.

4. nothing

I also sent as many pictures as I thought would help you. Thank you for any help you can give.

    While a picture may be worth a 1000 words, an out of focus small photo is worth about a couple of words. From the photos, I can tell

    1. Yes, it is a revolver cylinder
    2. Yes, it appears to have 6 chambers
    3. It appears to be blued finish, presumed to be steel
    4. The caliber is larger than a .22 but smaller than a 60 mm mortar.

    Close up, in focus photographs of all markings are a must to even start to identify a part. Actual measurements of the cylinder would also help in that members can then compare your measurement to an actual part that the member might have access to.

    As it stands right now, I don't think anyone could identify your part and I would be very dubious of the accuuracy if someone did venture a guess.

    Do you agree that the action of this cylinder is different per maker. I do not think the caliber of .45lc helps since there are several companies that make a SAA .45lc but all the cylinders are not the same. If you are unable to look at it and tell me what company most likely made it, stay quiet and let someone who knows something help. If there is something specific you need....ASK. I am not scared to answer questions or take more photos or send you a drawing of it. No need to be an ass.

    NO one could Id that cylinder from the pics you posted,did you use a cellphone by chance?

    If you need to know, i used a 5mp camera under the stove range light.

    Good! But a problem..E-mailing better photos to a 'good samaritan' will get that good samaritans input. One person. If you would do [item in blue] and get them over to these forums, many Colt SAA afficionados, and a few serious collectors will be able to make their call all at once. I tried many attempts to get quality photos on this forum, until I discovered the preview button that's on the page you use to construct the post.

    PS..all Colt SAA cylinders, as well as the Uberti knock-offs have to be hand-fit for timing, etc. in order to function properly. You may, in fact, have the correct cylinder. Hope I helped. Joe

    Since you are unable to ascertain the maker of this cylinder when you have it in your hand to examine; Why do you think someone else could identify it exactly by looking at an undimensioned, out of focus small photograph ?

    If I said "Your cylinder is off of a Hawes SAA Clone, manufactured in 1967 by Saur & Sohn, Germany, and will fit a Western Deputy Marshall, serial number 173448 through 173449" and it won't fit a Uberti" Would you believe me ?

    You asked for help without having enough information to obtain that help. Then you insult me when I point out more information is needed.

    Having suggested you post dimensions and in focus photographs once, I won't do it again but at the risk of being called names again I will suggest you take your cylinder to a gun shop and have a knowledgeable gunsmith examine it and render an opinion.

    Might want to pay him for that, especially if you insult him as well.
