    That is accomplished pretty much like most semi auto's using a rotating bolt. If I am not mistaken, the bolt lever itself, acts like a locking cam/pin.

    As tsr1965 noted that is exactly how it works. There is a bolt in a carrier and the bolt handle swings forward and backward camming and un-camming the bolt, via the carrier, into the locking position. The Mauser M96 (modern civilian version) is the same way. That design actually originally came about in the 1880's/1890's. it's been perfected and changed over the years but the concept is the same.
