Another Rem 760 code question
I have a 760, marked as December, 1952, ser. # 199xx. To the left of the YY appears the letter A with a dot above and to the right. To the left of the letter A appears to be the lower half of a capital letter Q. What does this refer to?
On the right side of the barrel, to the right of the proof mark appears a 3 leaf clover and what appears to be this symbol <>. The actual shape is connected, no spacing between any of the 4 lines. What does this refer to?
Thanks.
