    Yeah, add in another $60 and swap it for a Ruger 10/22.

    Seriously, that's probably the cheapest, fastest, and easiest way to go.

    While its probably POSSIBLE to redesign the gun to feed from a clip fed magazine, I've never heard of any ready drop-in way to do it, nor it is likely worth the effort or expense.

    Trade a 15 shoot tube for a removable magazine with 7 rounds I would have never thaoght about changing. The only reason may be that you can do quick changes to a different volicity round. If you take a close look at the workings of the rifle there are a crap load of them in the way of installing a magazine, like he said buy another rifle.

    Only reason is Ease of loading quickly
    Tube feed is unhandy For Whistle pig hunting.In and out of truck Yuck Wish I Could Put $60 with it and get a 10/22 Don't know what Dummy would trade me HAHA

    i like tube feed better never had on jam. with the clip you constantly got to jiggle it to get it to feed

    For quick loading, there is the Spee-D-Loader - I got one years ago and it works great. http://www.spee-d-loader.net/

    I own them both marlin 60 and a ruger 10/22.At my house it's marlin hands down!My marlin is way more accurate than my ruger plus you don't have to worry about magazine jams! If you plan to spend hundreds to modify your rifle then buy the ruger that's my humble opinion.
