Beretta 390 vs 391

I recently found a beretta 390 mallard at a gun show but had been looking for a 391. Given the considerable price difference, is there any reason someone might choose one over the other? Thanks.

  The 390 has the most easily cracked fore end I've ever seen on a shotgun. There is a thriving aftermarket for replacements. The 391 fore end appears different, I can't tell you if it is any better.
  
  While I like the appearance of the Berettas, the Remington semi-autos seem much simpler & more durable. And, cleaning the gas system of the Beretta is a real chore.
