.455 Webley
I have this posted on GD too, http://forums.gunbroker.com/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=401818 but with the recent going ons I thought I would drop it here sine I know some are staying away from that side.
So a buddy knows a guy with a .455 Webley for sale. Other then the fact they are kind of a neat old gun I know nothing about them. I have been doing a bit of reading online. Seems there are several models and prices are all over the place.
Any how the guy is asking $300 for it. I know that without more info it would be hard to say if this is a deal or not. From any of you that have them what info can you share with me? Fun? Worth it?
If I do get it, seems like a good time to get into making my own lead bullets. I now have a couple of guns that I could do it for.

Lot of them that were imported were altered for 1/2 moon clips shooting standard .45 ACP ammo. If it's original and hasn't been reworked, the .455 original ammo is quite pricy and not easy to come by.
$300 could be a very good deal depending on which particular "MARK" Webley, ( From the 1880's to W W I they went from Mark I to Mark VI ), and if it's in factory original condition.
Quality old guns with a lot of history, really need to reload for and shoot.0
