Ithaca 51 featherlite

I have an ithaca 51 featherlite which now has a broken slide assembly. After looking around, it seems like this is a common problem. Is there someplace i could pick up a slide assy relatively cheap?...or should I just cut my losses and part out the gun? Thanks for the help.

  ITHACA MADE A 'RUN' OF THESE ABOUT 5 YEARS AGO, WITH THE CO. IN AND OUT OF BUSINES I DON'T KNOW IF YOU WOULD FIND ONE.

  Good luck, sold mine on the recommendation of my gunsmith, mainly because of them have that problem and parts are not easy to find.

  i have an old mod 51 i use weekly to shoot trap, have 3 barrels and never a days trouble.
  
  must of had it for 35 years now.
