Value of an old 1967 Ithaca Featherlight 12ga
I am thinking about selling some guns to pay down my credit card debt but don't have a clue on values. My gun is an old Ithaca corncob Featherlight 12ga in pretty nice shape for its age some blueing is fading esp. at the tip on the barrel, probably from slipping into a gun case. Very small area of wear. no pits or rust and there is no chips or cracks in the stock or foregrip. Some wear on the slide which is normal. . The stock is in really nice shape as is the foregrip. The barrel is about 32" and choked FULL. It's a sweet old gun but I think it needs to go to a good home soon.

As above,,,,might be a good spot shoot gun..nambu 0 -
Sold one like yours but in 98% condition on GB last year; I got $260. Subtract selling fee, cost of shipping carton.....these nice old guns don't bring the price they should.

Though I can't tell for sure from the picture, I believe your gun pre-dates 1967. We could tell from the serial number. If it is, in fact a 32" barrel (and not 30") that's unusual. The add on recoil pad detracts from it's value, though. 0 -
It's a good old $250.00 37 Ithaca around here.... 0 -
Yep Im 1 1/2 hour from Ithaca , NY and they are well sought after around here.. Definitely $250-$300 although the add on recoil pad hurts the value as mentioned before. I have a collection of the 37's in all the gauges .. I still hunt grouse, rabbit, small game etc with the .20.. Great gun.. 0 -
The buttpad is marked Pachmaur Gun Works, Los. Angeles. Not sure how old that is if it's after market. It looks new and has all it's little traction bumps. As for the SN that is 4057xx with a 4 down below the serial. So it's around a 1950/51. I must have been thinking of one of my other shotguns. I found a measuring tape and it's not a 32" if I measure from the tip to start of receiver. I'd say it's a 30". It must be my old Browning that has the 32. Sorry for the mixup and thank you everyone who has replied! 0 -
Yes that is a 1951 vintage the 4 below the serial number means full choke. I have been looking for one like that, I have a 20ga made the same year, most I can find have issues. The recoil pad not such a big deal I know where to get some Ithaca "sunburst" pads to make it look it a little more authentic. The prices given already are imo right in line. 0
