Stoeger Uplander Problem Help season starts soon!)

I bought a Stoeger Uplander in 20 ga now after about 300 rounds of the low brass cheapo shells when i shoot the first shot the saftey goes back half way off fire and i cant shoot the second shot unless i pull the saftey back to safe then put if back to fire...whats wrong? Thanks

  i am not real familiar with that particular shotgun, but most doubles have some type of detent on the safety to keep them in position. you will have to remove the rear stock to see how the safety works. problem should be pretty easy to spot. sounds like something just came loose in your gun.
