    It's a Model 1906 Winchester. Some of the Winchester collectors can likely tell you year of MFG.

    Winchester made over 800,000 between 1906 & the early 30's. They were high quality, popular with shooters and now collectors.

    GOOGLE, "Winchester Model 1906", start reading and follow the links. You will get the straight skinny on your granddads rifle.
