Winchester 52E
I have a 52E that I am thinking of selling to help finance another project, but I have no idea what to ask for it. I know they are a popular find with some buyers, but I need some help in determining an appropriate price to ask.
This is the E model, Serial Number 123XXX. It is a single shot model with the heavy Freeland laminated international match stock with the accessory rail and adjustable butt plate. It also has the Kenyon trigger and the barrel has been glass bedded. The receiver is round without any sight cuts.
I have a Redfield Palma rear sight on it right now along with a aperture front sight and these will go with it.
The rifle has a lot of use, but it is not beat up or anything. The barrel and bore look to be in good condition and I can tell you that it is an extremely accurate rifle. I guess overall it would be considered in "good" condition.
Like I said, I would like to sell this rifle in order to finance another project, but have no idea what would be a reasonable asking price. I would appreciate it if any of you could give me a ball park figure as to how much I could expect to get for the rifle and sights. Thanks for your help.

FROM WATCHING RECENT AUCTIONS I'LL GUESS IT WOULD SELL FOR +- $1000. WHILE THE 'E' MODEL IS ONE OF THE RARIST 52'S THE EARLYER MODLES HAD BETTER WORKMANSHIP. THE 'KENYON' TRIGGER WOULD HAVE HAD TO BE DONE AFTERWORDS AS THEY NEVER (I KNOW NEVER SAY NEVER)CAME FROM THE FACTORY WITH THIS MODIFICATION. I'VE HAD CARL DO SEVERAL TRIGGERS FOR ME AND COULDN'T BE MORE PLEASED. I DON'T KNOW IF HE STILL DOES THIS, HE MUST BE IN HIS 90'S. 0 -
THE 52E MIGHT BE SOME OF THE LAST RUN OF THE INTERNATIONAL MATCH. THE INTER NATIONAL CAME WITH THE FR4EELAND LAMINATED STOCK AND KENYON TRIGGER. I WOULD LIKE TO SEE PICTURES OF IT IF POSSIBLE. THE INTERNATIONLS MOSTLY WHERE DS BUT THER WHERE SOME ES. tHANK YOU KEITH 0
