I think if you are used to an ultradot you will be disappointed in a REFLEX sight. there are a number of very short light weight red dot sights on the market and I have seen many ultradots mounted with just one ring . I shoot Bulls-Eye "far different from action pistol" but I need to change zero from 25 yard to 50 yards 4 times every match. The reflex sights that I have seen dont. do that very easy over and over again. they seem to be designed to do it once and then leave as is. YMMV

The good ones can take a pounding, and one company even makes one they call the slide rider. If you want to make good use of one of these sights, then you don't want it riding on the slide and moving. You want it on a mount, and not moving, so while the slide is moving, you can be moving to the next target.

My opinion, if it is mounted to the slide you are just as well off with a set of fiber optic sights, which don't have to be turned on, much cheaper, and will work at least as well.
