I have a Stephen Grant & Sons shotgun SxS with hammers 20ga. I would like to sell it but I can't find enough info on it to put a value on it.
It is in good condition with case and some paperwork from a gun maker in Scotland.

  Neither are 20 guage though. I did a "Smart Search" and saw some auctions, but no sales. Judging by the prices of those currently being auctioned, they should command a fairly high price.

  Best thing for you to do would be to post quality photos including close-ups of all markings. Their are many variables regarding the value of older sporting arms such as your shotgun. In most cases they are more valuable in their country of origin, then on the U.S. market. This entails either their sale to or transfer through a U.S. based dealer who is legally able to send it back to the old country.

  Just to add some information. Steven Grant & Sons was/were English gun makers from 1889 to 1901.
