45-70 reload with 325gr Hornady Flex - Tip ??

Has anyone reloaded 45-70 using the hornady 325gr flex-tip FXT bullet? My books don't have any 325gr loads. What loads work well for you? I have a Siam Mauser with a 1 in 16 twist

  Go to www.hornady.com/
  
  In the lower left corner, click on "FTX load data"
  
  There you will find two links for the 45-70, one for the trapdoor, & one for the newer lever guns.
  
  While your Mauser action is possibly one of the strongest platforms to build a 45-70 on, be advised that you may be able to over-power some bullets. Not all bullets are of the same hardness or jacket thickness & are designed to expand properly at certin velocities without fragmenting. The above data links will at least give you your starting point.

  I use 60 gns. of IMR3031 in mine, works great.

  I use 59gr of H4895 with Win WLR primers under a 350gr Hornady FP in my 1895 CB for elk, works great, but kills at both ends.
