What Caliber Is This?

Hello everyone. I was hoping someone could name this bore sight for me. I believe it requires 9volt - not sure what battery, if anyone knows that would be great.

I am just stumped at what caliber this is.. Thank you!

    I can't help you as too brand but there are many exactly like it for sale on that evil website.I believe it is 30-06 and it turns on when the shoulder touches the chamber of your rifle barrel. It should come apart and take watch battery. However I must commend you on the great Photos I wish every one would have the correct lightning and focus that your pictures have.

    It would help tremendously if you took measurements at the case mouth and the case head. The measurement you show at slightly over 1/2" (if I'm reading your caliper right) isn't enough to go on. The case being just over 2 1/2" would make it seem like a non-belted Magnum of some kind.

    Generally speaking it sure does look like the standard 30-06 case.

    Eyeballing, (and several respondants) have said ".30-06". Here's the dimensions. Good Luck! Joe

    Ok.. I'll measure as requested. My dad had like 100 of these. I am wondering why he had so many of these.

    Now that you have the SAAMI dimensions, mike it, and let us know. I'm no good at eyeballing, 'cept for fine paintings[:D]

    If not .30-06, give me the head diameter, and neck outside diameter, and I'll get you a schematic drawing of something as close as possible. Best, Joe
