Marlin 336c help

Hello. My father has a marlin 336 and he just removed a scope that was on it for the last 40 years. As you can probably guess the screws that plugged the holes in the reciever are long gone as well as the sight elevator. It is a 1/16" slot sight. Where can I find these parts? I did a few searches and couldnt really come up with anything. Also, just out of curiosity, how much is this 99%+ 336c .35 remmington worth? Any help is appreciated.

  I'd value your gun at about $350, +/- $50.
  Also, most gunshops that mount scopes for hunters will have lots of the plug screws lying around; You can probably get them for free if you ask.

  I just bought one in January at the philadelphia gun show for 200.00 I know I got a great deal on it and have seen them run for about 300 on average. I bought it for my son and he hates it so it is going at the next show!!!!!!!
