Maynard P. Buehler Scope base code
Anyone have any lists from Maynard Beuhler's work? I have several bases that say Browning Small Ring and code of BS stamped on base. Internet devotes a lot of articles to Beuhler's house in Orinda, California being designed by Frank Lloyd Wright about 1948, but no lists of codes for his bases. I do not know if the Browning Small ring refers to th Sako Action Browning, or FN or?? These are probably 40 years old, nothing new. Anything will help, I have checked old Shooters Bibles, but no help. Thanks for reading DWSRPHTN@aol.com

According from a chart found in an old Shooters Bible #55 1964 year listing for Buehler rifle action mount bases this is what I found.
BS= Browning small ring cal. 243-308 (1.3 dia. ) M91-M98 etc. Mauser action
F=1 High power large ring receiver only-(1.4-1.42 dia. ) M-98
