Take real good pictures, and measurements, and maybe someone can come up with an idea for something else that would work properly. Sort of like using Beretta mags in a Walther P88. You may not have had any replies because no one has heard of it, or seen one that they know of.

The only 18 shot Austrian pistol I'm aware of is the Steyr GB. Here is a photo off the net. Any chance this is the pistol your referring to?

I have a 9mm Wolf Ultramatic that runs the 18rd magazines. I got my from CDNN. The OEM magazines where originally manufactured by Mec Gar in Europe and are proprietary to that model of pistol, according the Mec Gar USA.

The Wolf handgun magazines are available at CDNNSPORTS.COM if you still need them. 38Super, 40 S&W and 45 ACP listed there today. I was trying to remember what the gun looked like and saw your post

    4 year old thread.

The Wolf pistols have a fairly unusual fixed barrel design with partial/internal slide, and a correspondingly odd look. I think the idea was that the fixed barrel would increase accuracy, and with less slide mass going back and forth, the recoil would be gentler (ie less slide "smack").

The guns were big, heavy, expensive to manufacture, and of questionable reliability and durability. Ultimately the Austrian company that made them went belly up.

In typical fashion, CDNN then bought up all the remainder for pennies on the dollar and sold them out at fire-sale prices as "collectible only" advising not to shoot them (that's not a good sign!). Some of these were fairly tricked out too, with compensators, adjustable match sights, etc.

Didn't buy one then and don't think I'd buy one now. Spare parts are probably next to impossible to find, and from what I hear, you well may need them.
