FFL help needed
I am trying to buy a rifle...the seller will not ship to CA. I need an FFL who will ship to CA so I can buy the rifle and have the seller ship to you and then you ship to CA. For a reasonable fee. Can someone help?

We first need to know a few things.
1. Is the seller an FFL holder? If so, will he use another FFL
holder to ship said rifle?
2. What state is it being shipped from?
3. Is the rifle legal in CA?
4. Hopefully you have not paid for this already.

Selling and shipping to CA, means getting set up with their DOJ system they have in their laws. There a lot of sellers that will not ship anything to CA because of that. I suggest you try to find another channel to acquire this rifle.0 -
The seller is an FFL...not sure what difference it makes to him as long as he can ship it to another FFL holder. I just need the second FFL holder to be willing to deal with a shipment to CA...the first one will not.

Yes the rifle is legal in CA. Its a Volquartsen 17 HMR.
No I haven't bid yet, I want to get the details worked out first. One one detail see if he will ship to the second FFL holder and then find a second FFL that will ship to CA...that is why I am looking for help.0 -
