  try ask the experts forum here on gunbroker for tech questions, you might get a better answer then mine which is keep it clean and most of all buy good ammo not cheap wolf.

  Replace the gas plug with an adjustable one.
  Here is one type: http://www.midwayusa.com/viewProduct/?productNumber=855569
  Start with the adjustable one "wide open" and close it down until you get reliable functioning, and leave it there. If you change ammo, you should re-adjust again.
