Value of colt gov model 1 of 1000?
Saw this pistol in a local shop today. Blued, marked gov model on left side of the slide and 1 of 1000 on the right side. Has custom wrap around rubber grips and large aftermarket style sights. Prob 95% condition. No box. Asking price is 750? Is this a good deal?

Sounds like a deal for a Colt if the sight installation was not munged up.0 -
I think this is a colt custom shop pistol so the sights are factory installed. I did some googling and found one other thread that describes a similar pistol.
