Sten Gun Magazines
I have read articals on using the Sten magazines on other weapons. What I have not read about is the problems being solved with using the full capasity of 32 and the 20 plug used to stop jamming. Is there a fix for the Sten mag?

One of the troubles I have found with many long "single" stack mags
is the varying spring pressure from fully loaded to almost empty.
Hence the idea of plugging to a smaller capacity. If you could install
a variably rate spring that would keep a more constant "load" against the shells, you would have a better feeding mag. A fly in this idea is
most coil type springs can be made to get stronger as they compress, but you need the spring to get softer as it gets compressed. As a side note, you may try to change the length of the feed lips to allow the shells to remain in the mag a longer or shorter time before release.
