Rem 700; first month of production?
I know the first year of Model 700 production was 1962. Does anyone know in which month of '62 Remington began production of the Model 700? Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure, I have a 700 BDL in 7mag that was built in June of 62, it's the oldest one I've seen. There should be a Remington authority along shortly.
