If you check completed auctions in the smart search area of the auction side of the web site you'll see individual pocket nines getting 850-900. A consecutive pair listed and relisted several times at reserve got the highest bid of $2600. Reserve was $3995. Don't know if you're looking at the same pistols but at least there's some price history there to look at. 0 -

I have seen the guns...My customer wants to send them to the James D Julia auction in Maine next month... They are absolutely Pristine...Maybe someone on GB would be a player before I forward Them...$ 3850 is his Magic Number...Call if interested...610-407-9760. 0 -
Yes that is magic alright. I would rather he call it a DAY DREAM This forum is not to SELL YOUR ITEMS put it up for auction HERE with that as a starting bid . Then see if he gets ONE bid or if you wasted your time. 0 -
The pocket 9 was nothing special, but another failure for Colt. If it were not, then they would still be making them and selling them. Very similar to the All American 2000. They can't seem to get anything right since the passing of John Browning. I would say that if your customer is expecting more than $1k each, then you had better have someone wake them up from the dream they are living in. There was one NIB that would not draw a reserve of 1400.00. Sorry, but I do not see them drawing near $2k each.
