Shipping Primers via UPS

    You need to fill out the Haz Mat paperwork and pay the extra fees involved, over $20 I think! You will need to take them to the UPS hub in your area, none of the store front places will accept haz mat shipping.

    Make very little sense but Primers and powder must be shipped HAZ MAT loaded ammo only ORM-D label HAZ MAT cost much more to ship.

    Thanks for the info; no problem with filling out the additional paperwork; I wonder if I can schedule a pickup or if I have to drive to the distribution center (it's far away)...also, somewhere I read that you have to be hazmat certified or somesuch to ship primers....ever hear of this? thanks

    primers in there box by them selfs are considered explosives and require hazmat..due to if dropped can detonate..if loaded in cartridges or brass they can go ORM_D

    I am not sure about them picking up at your location, do you have an account with UPS? If you ship one or two packages a week, its worth it to go online and open an account at ups.com. I think you would need to go to the hub as there is paperwork there you would need to fil out. I am not saying this is the right thing to do, but I have had people ship me primers regular UPS ground, wrapped very well so that if the box were to be kicked around the hub, they would be safe from detonation.
