  SOMETIMES, with a really detailed description, you can tease a ballpark (very large ballpark, but a ballpark)figure out of folks. Could be anywhere from a couple hundred for a beat up parts gun to thousands for a rare specimen in extraordinary condition. Things like working condition, bore, any extra holes or modifications made to the original, percent of original finish remaining, stock condition, obvious damage, serial number, etc. etc.

  ASSUMING 95% condition in the Southwest it would bring $500. A little more or less depending upon the day. Desirable cartridge, a little less common than .300 Savage, but not uncommon. A year ago it would have been asking $650 here.
