what price would you pay amt automag

right now what would be the max amount you would give for the tde 44 automag from el.monte, only for collecting purpose,very rarely to be shot.i dont think there going to go much higher in value since parts are almost nill.and the desert eagle has the market cornered on 44s, i am thinkin of getting one but i want to get a feel from the pros on here what one would be worth lets say in good conditon with one mag. the orginals i know will bring a bit more of a premium, is tde the same company as amt ?

    I could kick myself when I turner down a chance to buy a 30 carbine Automag for $300, of course this was 20 yrs ago when they didn't command the premium they do now.




    I think it was last 80s to early 90s. The $300 price sticks in my head and I think it was for a used one. The reason I didn't get it was I didn't like the way it felt in my hand( Or maybe the price was higher than 300 and that scared me away). $629 in 1992, wow, kinda pricey, that might have been the deciding factor.

    we have a automag on here now for 1,895 which i feel is too high for the el monte model,i am thinking more in the lines of 1500 plus or minus a few. i keep in mind that this thing will just collect dust and as far as being a collectior item i think its maxed out for at least 20 years or so till a few more break or get lost. but then again that would have to be the passadena models that keep great value.leaving me with if i buy one and decide to sell it, waiting on the right customer to come along and with a model like this i could wait for months on end till someone wanted it. if most people are like me once you get the gun in your hand the wow factor is gone.
