would the colt mustang grips fit on the p238?

i would like to buy a sig p238 but i want to be able to toy with it and change the grips but i havent found many for the sig but plenty for the colt any sudgestions

    You can get one with Rosewood or Blackwood grips.

    but could you use colt grips on them, its essentially the same gun

    It is superficially the same gun.

    SIG redesigned many parts; the safety/locking system is completely different. (It can be carried "cocked & unlocked", not "cocked & locked".)

    I don't know if Colt grips would fit, but I would assume that they would not. If I owned both guns I'd be glad to try just so we could be sure, but I don't.

    I've got both had to send the sig back it was included in the recall for the safety they looked like they might when I get the Sig back I'll give it a try if someone else doesn't know by then

    Fit like a glove My camera is terrible but that is a colt medallion on a sig 238[img][/img]Picture009.jpg

    The screw holes match, but that fit is not "like a glove." The SIG grip frame is much wider.

    as mentioned already, the sig has a wider grip and the sig grips are flater and 3/16" wider., but mustang grips do fit a sig and don't look half bad. sig p238 grips fit the mustang, but don't liik good.
