1892 in .44-40

I have just inherited a family heirloom, a 1892 in .44-40, that was found in a closet, in a cabin in Northern Quebec. It is in great shape along with several boxes of very old Winchester ammo. The serial number is 632987. I would applicate any initial info until I can get a formal letter.

  I do not have the Polishing Room Serialization Records information for the Model 1892, but based on my educated guess, it is most likely a late 1912 or early 1913 vintage gun.
  
  If the old boxes of ammo are complete (full) boxes, they may be worth a chunk of $$$ all by themselves... do not shoot any of it.
  
  As old-colts mentioned, the factory warehouse ledgers end at serial number 379,999 for the Model 1892 (circa 1908).
  
  In order to provide you with any additional information, it would be beneficial if you could post several pictures of it.
